President Uhuru Kenyatta has, for the first time, been pictured wearing military uniform.
These pictures (below) from State House, Nairobi, posted on Friday on social media by the Presidential Strategic Communications Unit show him wearing the military jungle green uniform.
The President later presided over a military function at Archer's Post in Samburu.
President Kenyatta is the Commander in Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF)
